Jeremy Doser joined the Lodge in the fall of 1993 after being recruited by Chris Pounds. It was a tough time since there was no actual Lodge that year and the actives were all spread around campus in apartments. But he really liked the brothers he met and pledged along with one other guy who dropped out halfway through. So he initiated by himself, at the Epsilon Delta Lodge at Northwestern University. He left Illinois in January 1996 and moved to Brownsville, Texas to become a flight instructor. By March 1997 he had accumulated enough flight time to get his first airline job at Continental Express Airlines, where he flew ATR-42 turboprops and Embraer-145 regional jets out of Houston and Cleveland. In 2005 he was hired by Continental Airlines and began flying the 757 and 767 out of Newark, New Jersey. With the merger of Continental and United Airlines he was able to get based back in Chicago. He has been a 737 Captain for United the last nine years. He has been a trustee on the alumni board and, for the past three years, vice-president. He enjoyes staying involved and getting to know the actives each year and also help plan our yearly Founders’ Day banquet.
Matthew Hess, ZΔ `00, is originally from the South side of Chicago but now lives in Plainfield with his wife, Laura. He is an attorney focusing in the areas of estate planning, probate, and contested estate and trust litigation as owner of 
Colin Johnson lives in Chicago, IL in the Edison Park neighborhood with his wife Amanda and their two sons Carter (4) and Keaton (2.5). Today Colin is Category Sales Director at Verizon Media, leading a team tasked with providing advertising solutions for the country’s largest CPG manufacturers across the suite of Verizon advertising and publishing solutions.
I am glad to be back for my third (or fourth) stint on the Corporation Board since graduating in 2003. After undergrad, I went to Chicago-Kent for law school, and then moved for New York City, where I was a state prosecutor from 2006 through 2013. In May 2013, my family and I moved back to Chicago where I took a job as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, focusing on internal misconduct at the Postal Service. I am currently an in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 company in Chicago. I am married with two kids and live in the western Chicago suburbs.
Chip McConville, ZD ’89, served as #2, social chairman and scholarship chairman during his undergraduate days in the Lodge. In the early 1990’s, he served a term as a trustee of the Zeta Delta Alumni Corporation and was a contributing editor for the Purple and Gold. A native Ohioan, Chip was a founder of the Columbus Area Chi Psi Alumni Club which came into existence about 20 years ago.
