Brother Parks grew up in LaGrange, IL and graduated from Lyons Township High School before enrolling at the University of Illinois @ Urbana/Champaign. Brother Parks was initiated into the bonds of Chi Psi December 4, 1999 with seven other gentlemen at 311 E. Armory. As an undergraduate, Brother Parks served as Rush Chairman, Social Chairman, Pledge Educator, and #2, twice. He graduated in 2003 with a degree in Classics concentrating in Latin. Brother Parks previously served on the AZD Corporation Board as Vice President from 2005 – 2012, a Trustee from 2017 -2019, and as the Fundraising Chairman for the Capital Campaign to purchase 710 Ohio St.
Brother Parks has enjoyed a successful career in law enforcement since January 2005. He left Chicago, IL in 2014 for Tucson, AZ until making his way back to the Midwest and settling in Peoria, IL. Brother Parks has a loving wife, daughter, son, and 19 lbs. ball of fury named Homer.
Jeremy Doser joined the Lodge in the fall of 1993 after being recruited by Chris Pounds. It was a tough time since there was no actual Lodge that year and the actives were all spread around campus in apartments. But he really liked the brothers he met and pledged along with one other guy who dropped out halfway through. So he initiated by himself, at the Epsilon Delta Lodge at Northwestern University. He left Illinois in January 1996 and moved to Brownsville, Texas to become a flight instructor. By March 1997 he had accumulated enough flight time to get his first airline job at Continental Express Airlines, where he flew ATR-42 turboprops and Embraer-145 regional jets out of Houston and Cleveland. In 2005 he was hired by Continental Airlines and began flying the 757 and 767 out of Newark, New Jersey. With the merger of Continental and United Airlines he was able to get based back in Chicago. He has been a 737 Captain for United the last nine years. He has been a trustee on the alumni board and, for the past three years, vice-president. He enjoyes staying involved and getting to know the actives each year and also help plan our yearly Founders’ Day banquet.

Matt, a/k/a “Meathouse,” double-majored in Political Science and Finance as an undergraduate at the University of Illinois. He attended Chicago-Kent College of Law after graduation, obtaining his J.D. in 2003. Following law school, Matt worked as a litigation attorney, almost exclusively handling medical malpractice cases involving catastrophic injuries, representing both injured plaintiffs as well as defendant physicians and hospitals. He left the law firm life in 2016 to open his own practice. Matt is a die-hard White Sox, Bears and Illini fan, and is also a horse racing enthusiast and handicapper. He is a poor golfer but excels at driving the cart, and he travels to Hawaii with his wife, Lady Meathouse, every chance he gets.
As an undergraduate, Matt served as scholarship chair, #4, #1 and pledge educator. He served on the Board as Vice-President immediately upon graduation and has served in various capacities since then, including Trustee and Secretary. Colin Johnson lives in Chicago, IL in the Edison Park neighborhood with his wife Amanda and their two sons Carter (4) and Keaton (2.5). Today Colin is Category Sales Director at Verizon Media, leading a team tasked with providing advertising solutions for the country’s largest CPG manufacturers across the suite of Verizon advertising and publishing solutions.
Colin arrived at the University of Illinois in the Fall of 2002 focusing on a business degree with a concentration in marketing. While at school Colin managed to find a way to graduate on time (thanks to the help of his future wife), participate as an active member of the Lodge, as well as play on the Illinois Mens Volleyball team all 4 years. As a professional Colin has worked the majority of this time within the marketing/advertising field, taking only one small detour post graduation to work as an equity options trader at the CBOE prior to the financial crash which subsequently cut that particular career path short.
While at the Lodge Colin lived in the 110 Armory building his Sophomore-Senior year, serving as #3 and Recruitment Chair. The latter role where he began to fine tune the skills necessary to become a successful sales leader later in his professional life. This new role on the corp board is an opportunity to give back to an organization that helped shape his college experience and has provided numerous lifelong friendships he keeps to this day.
I am glad to be back for my third (or fourth) stint on the Corporation Board since graduating in 2003. After undergrad, I went to Chicago-Kent for law school, and then moved for New York City, where I was a state prosecutor from 2006 through 2013. In May 2013, my family and I moved back to Chicago where I took a job as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, focusing on internal misconduct at the Postal Service. I am currently an in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 company in Chicago. I am married with two kids and live in the western Chicago suburbs.
Throughout my Lodge career I have held many roles both in undergrad and as an alum, and I look forward to working with the Board over the next two years to continue our successes in Urbana.”
Chip McConville, ZD ’89, served as #2, social chairman and scholarship chairman during his undergraduate days in the Lodge. In the early 1990’s, he served a term as a trustee of the Zeta Delta Alumni Corporation and was a contributing editor for the Purple and Gold. A native Ohioan, Chip was a founder of the Columbus Area Chi Psi Alumni Club which came into existence about 20 years ago.
A political science major, McConville worked as a legislative aide, campaign staffer and lobbyist at the Ohio Statehouse for about 15 years prior to attending Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated summa cum laude and was an editor of the Law Review. Upon graduation from law school in 2007, Chip was hired as an assistant prosecutor in Knox County, Ohio. In 2013, he was appointed to the position of law director for the City of Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Chip now serves as the elected Prosecuting Attorney of Knox County, having been appointed to a vacancy in 2014. He prosecutes felony offenses and advises county and township officials on civil issues. In 2017, Governor John Kasich appointed McConville to the Ohio Criminal Sentencing Commission, a group of legislators, judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys and criminal justice stakeholders who review proposed legislation that will affect criminal sentencing.
McConville has one son, Curran, who attends Loyola University in Chicago.
